Levain is operated by Farm Red Studios (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Our app and website are available at levain.io and app.levain.io. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our services.

- Batch and recipe data: Fermentation measurements, ingredients, tasting notes, and other data you log in the app.
- Billing information: Payment method details processed securely through Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.

- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and timestamps. We use this to improve the product.
- Device information: Browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and device model.

- Google Sign-In: If you use Google to sign in, we receive your name, email, and profile photo from Google.

- Stripe — for payment processing
- Google — for authentication (if you use Google Sign-In)

Your Rights
You can:
- Access your data at any time through the app
- Export your batches, recipes, and tasting notes
- Delete your account and all associated data by contacting support@levain.io
- Opt out of analytics by disabling them in Settings
Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Children’s Privacy
Levain is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting a notice on our website or sending you an email. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
